kim - lead vocals and guitar
The emotive front man of the band learnt his craft with numerous original and cover bands, recording and producing Indie/Rock demos, and gigging relentlessly across the country to much success. As a founding member of The Fuzz, Kim has returned to his roots, a Mod at heart, playing music he loves by acts he respects. He has a voice that is passionate, raw and sincere, being compared to Strummer, Weller and Winwood, and is very much an artist in his own right. Kim is now lead vocalist and switches between electric and acoustic guitars with The Fuzz.
tark - vocals, guitar and keyboard
Tark is the musical maestro of the outfit. He is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and electronics whizz whose musical theory and knowledge often leaves the rest of the band gasping for air! He was brought up on a diet of 70’s Prog rock but nowadays is a lover of all musical styles and genres. Following an anti-climactic European tour in a previous band he retired from the live scene for some 8 years, prefering to write and record instrumental work in his own studio while also being known to record and engineer for other acts. However, the call from The Fuzz and the desire to do it live again has brought The Dark Lord out of retirement for your entertainment.
mells - vocals and drums
The drummer is a musical veteran who has notched up gigging experience beyond his years. In the early days, music was a distant noise that accompanied his drumming, but he has continued to develop his percussive skills and now appreciates the many subtleties of the musical craft. Nowadays it is not unusual to hear the words Peart, Copeland and Collins mentioned on hearing the mighty man let loose and rip around the kit - just watch out for flying fragments of drumstick! With musical tastes as diverse as folk to dance, Mells now partakes in many musical pursuits and is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist to boot. With his old musical companion Tark returning to the fold, Mells is enjoying his music as if he were 17 all over again!
jonny - vocals and bass guitar
Jon is the latest addition to be caught by The Fuzz… and a most welcome one at that! The only member of the band with a qualified musical education, he brings a confident groove to the act and lives to play live. Mysterious, calm, cool and collected, and rarely seen in daylight, Jon offers all the vital traits a bassist should have! Jon started his career writing and performing in original punk acts, and continues to play live in other bands around the area... Just don’t shop him in! Jon is a keen photographer who, despite spending his younger years as an anarchist, can now admire, capture and see the beauty of the female form through his lens.
